Understanding Mental Disorder
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services
At Cognacity, we offer a range of services for children and adolescents who are struggling with their mental wellbeing. It is vital that children and adolescents who are suffering from mental health difficulties attain the support that is needed. Children who are feeling low or anxious about school, who are having problems with friends or with making friends or who have difficulties sleeping can be supported through psychological therapy including behavioural interventions. We have a team of experts that can assist adolescents who are struggling with mental health difficulties such as depression, eating disorders, anxiety and suicidal thoughts. Therapy sessions begin with a comprehensive mental health assessment. Following this, therapeutic interventions are tailored to best suit the particular needs of the child or adolescent and their families.
