Kristin McCarthy is an experienced Integrative Psychotherapist offering individual therapy. She supports patients with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety and mood disorders, loss, parenting and relationship challenges, and more specialised concerns such as burnout, infertility and issues around immigration.
Kristin draws on extensive training in psychodynamic, person-centred, transpersonal, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Her therapeutic style is relational and collaborative, supporting patients with compassion but also offering challenge when it helps bring clarity and positive change.
Kristin is experienced in both short- and long-term therapy and welcomes patients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
Kristin has also worked in a variety of settings, including 4 years at the Schoen Clinic Chelsea, The Parent and Carers Counselling Service (London Borough of Camden), and City Pregnancy Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is a preferred therapist for staff at Great Ormond Street Charity.
