Dr Yath (Yathooshan) Ramesh (MBBS BSc MRCPsych) is a Consultant General Adult and Old Age psychiatrist.

He graduated in Medicine from Imperial College London, holds a 1st class intercalated degree in Psychology from King’s College London, and is an alumnus of the Leadership & Management Fellowship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

His experience spans across the range of adult mental disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, complex trauma and substance misuse. He has also worked in specialist adult ADHD services in the NHS.

With his dual training in old age psychiatry, Yath also has expertise in the assessment and management of older adult mental health disorders and cognitive disorders, including dementia.

He has a deep appreciation for the unique and personal journey of mental illness, where complexities can often lie beyond the diagnostic boundaries.

Outside of clinical work, Yath co-delivers post-graduate courses for doctors training in psychiatry. Having been involved in the rapid growth of a tech company, he also has valuable insights into working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

In his free time, he cherishes being outdoors, and spending quality time with family and friends.
