Gauri is interested in neurodiversity, working parents, stay at home parents and aspirational parents. Dr Gauri Seth (Verma) is an educator and coach supporting parents and caregivers boost connection for emotional wellness, self-esteem and family wellbeing.

Gauri is a mother of three and Emotional Wellness Coach, with an extensive clinical and academic background in medicine and psychiatry. Gauri graduated in Medicine from the University of Bristol where she was also awarded a First-Class Honors in Bioethics. She has worked in the NHS as a doctor and clinical academic, with specialist experience in psychiatry and psychotherapy. Gauri’s clinical experience includes working with families in systemic therapy and mothers in perinatal psychiatry. Her psychotherapy experience has also included cognitive behavioural therapy, cognitive analytical therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Gauri is published across peer- reviewed academic journals, on topics including population research on psychological benefits of meditation in Buddhist Monks and Nuns in Dharamshala, qualitative research on the Gates Foundation and press reporting of global health inequality, and access to essential medicines in low- income countries.

Gauri was recently recognised as a ‘Top Cited Author’ by the Journal of Family Therapy for research which has been disseminated by the World Health Organisation. She has received awards for her research which has been presented at national and international conferences. Gauri is recognised as a ‘Top 50 Thought Leader in Mental Health’ by Thinkers 360 for her pioneering connection coaching methodology, through which she is working on to democratise access to connection science for sustainable mental wellbeing. Gauri was a Women Economic Forum Awardee in October 2023. She was a panellist in Post Cards From Midlife Live (May 2023), a women’s lifestyle event, as well as the Master Series at Oxford University (September 2023 and 2024) alongside mental health thought leaders.
