Dr Eleanor Coote Bsc MBBS MRCPsych
Adult Psychiatrist

Dr Coote completed an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Sussex, before completing her medical studies at Barts and the London medical school. She completed psychiatry core training at South London and the Maudsley before working as specialty doctor in a busy south London teaching hospital.

She has experience across a range of specialties in adult inpatient and outpatient psychiatry settings. She has particular experience in liaison psychiatry with an interest in the interplay between physical and mental health conditions.
Prior to psychiatry training, Eleanor worked as a Population Health Fellow, exploring the experience of access to health services by people experiencing homelessness.

Dr Coote is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is approved under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act. Dr Coote currently sees self-pay clients.
Outside of work she enjoys learning new skills including a recent pottery course, and enjoys travelling the UK and Europe in her campervan.
