Neurodiversity Support at Cognacity
Specialist assessment and support for ADHD, autism and cognitive difference – for adults, young people and families.
At Cognacity, we are expanding our specialist neurodiversity pathway in response to a rapidly growing clinical need across the UK.
Awareness of ADHD and autism has increased significantly in recent years, alongside a major rise in demand for assessment and support across both children and adults. Public services are under sustained pressure, with many individuals experiencing long delays in accessing timely assessment and care.
As a result, more people are seeking high-quality, clinically robust private assessment pathways that offer clarity, speed and joined-up care. We are meeting that need.
Why this matters now
Across the UK:
- Demand for ADHD and autism assessments has risen sharply in both adults and children
- NHS and CAMHS services are experiencing significant waiting times and capacity constraints
- Many individuals are reaching adulthood or parenting without clear understanding of neurodivergent profiles
- Families are increasingly seeking integrated, multidisciplinary assessment rather than fragmented pathways
Independent reviews and policy initiatives have highlighted the scale of rising demand and the need for more accessible, structured neurodevelopmental services across the system.
At the same time, private providers are increasingly being used to bridge gaps in access – particularly where timely assessment is critical for education, mental health support, work functioning and family life.
