Neelam Dosanjh is a Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist and an Organisational Consultant. She has worked in the NHS for over 25 years managing and leading psychological services. A key aspect of her work is to conduct a full assessment to collaborate with the patient on the best treatment approach.
She provides brief and longer term therapy using a wide range of approaches for her clinical work which include psychodynamic therapy, Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) which is NICE recommended for depression and anxiety, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) another NICE recommended short term therapy for depression, CBT and Mentalisation Based Treatment (MBT) for personality difficulties.
Neelam provides clinical services for a range of presentations with an underlying key focus on relational experiences and attachment theory. Clinical services include relationship difficulties, depression and anxiety, addictions, personality difficulties , eating disorders, post -traumatic stress disorder, sleep disorders, stress and work related stress
She is an accredited supervisor and trainer with the Anna Freud Centre.
She is professionally accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the Health Professionals Council (HCPC).
Her passion includes supporting the NHS and social justice.
