Dr Mark Donati is an HCPC registered counselling psychologist, approved supervisor and associate fellow of the BPS, senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy and BPC accredited practitioner of Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT). He gained first-class bachelors and master’s degrees in psychology before going on to complete a PhD and clinical training.
Before joining Cognacity, Mark spent over 10 years working in psychological services in the NHS, including as lead counsellor for the Brent IAPT Counselling Service and team leader for the North Lambeth Talking Therapies Service. He specialises in providing short and long-term psychodynamic and integrative therapies, tailored to the individual. His academic interests are in the areas of professional training, reflective practice and supervising doctoral research.
In addition to his clinical work, Mark is an experienced trainer and consultant, and is currently Head of Doctoral Training at the University of Roehampton, where he enjoys educating and inspiring future generations of counselling psychologists.
