Dr Kathryn Kissell is an experienced Counselling Psychologist at Cognacity who is passionate about enabling growth and transformation within individuals, groups and organisations.
Kathryn completed her clinical doctorate in Counselling Psychology at University of Roehampton. She also holds a BA(Hons) and MA(Oxon) in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University. Kathryn is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and British Psychological Society.
Kathryn has extensive experience working in the NHS, mental health charity, private sector and workplace settings. She employs an integrative therapeutic style drawing on humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural modalities as well as systemic therapeutic approaches. Kathryn works with individuals experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety disorders, depression, stress, work and relationship difficulties, eating disorders, bereavement and loss.
In addition, Kathryn is a Bowen Systems coach and consultant and works as a visiting research fellow & MBA course lecturer at London South Bank University Business School. Kathryn’s corporate work seeks to mature leadership, foster greater employee resilience and well-being as well as enhance organisational functioning.
Outside work, Kathryn loves nothing better than relaxing with her family, growing edible delights on her allotment and eating Indian food.
