Kathryn is a Counselling Psychologist. She has extensive experience working in the NHS, mental health charity, private sector and workplace settings.

Kathryn employs an integrative therapeutic style, working collaboratively to tailor her interventions to the specific needs of the client. Her approach draws on humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural modalities as well as systemic therapeutic approaches.

Kathryn offers both long and short term individual client work. She works with individuals experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety disorders, depression, stress, work and relationship difficulties, bereavement and loss.

Kathryn also works with couples and families.

As a Bowen Systems couples therapist Kathryn works with couples to support them to address the challenges facing them and to build strong, long-lasting relationships. Couples may be in crisis, struggling with a significant challenge or simply feeling disconnected. She sees couples of all ages, whether married or not, mixed or same sex, living together or apart.

As a Bowen Systems Family therapist Kathryn supports families to deepen their connections, communicate better and find creative ways to work together to get through stressful times. The whole family may be in difficulty, or one member in particular may be struggling and their problems affecting the rest of the family.

Kathryn works with families with children and adults of all ages and across all generations, living together or apart. For individual therapy clients who are between 16 and 18 years old, monthly family therapy is a vital part of the therapeutic process.

Kathryn is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. She completed her clinical doctorate in Counselling Psychology at University of Roehampton and holds a BA(Hons) and MA(Oxon) in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University. Kathryn is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
