Deborah Kinsey is an Assistant Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who works with adults, adolescents, children and their families.
Deborah has experience of working with depression, anxiety, OCD, phobias, PTSD, low self-esteem, perfectionism, anger management and interpersonal difficulties as well as attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She has worked at Cognacity for over 10 years, and previously worked within the NHS IAPT service delivering evidenced based interventions with a strong emphasis on assessment, formulation and specific treatment protocols.
Within private practice she draws upon a holistic and integrative approach to therapy including person-centred, psychodynamic, attachment theory and life-span development in addition to third wave CBT therapies such as Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness based practice. Deborah is experienced in delivering both online and face-to-face therapy.
In her spare time, Deborah enjoys spending time with her family which includes two Maine Coon cats and visiting the theatre
