Dr Rob Archer
Dr Rob Archer is a Chartered Psychologist specialising in helping organisations and individuals build resilience, improve mental health and sustain high performance.
Having trained at the University of London and Ashridge Business School, Rob now provides training, coaching and consultancy for a wide range of clients in financial and professional services, oil, gas and construction, FMCG, public sector, creative industries, SMEs and elite sporting teams.
Rob’s practice and research focus on the importance of developing psychological flexibility, which research data suggests has a major impact on performance, health, innovation and learning. He has just led the largest research trial of its kind in this area and speaks regularly at international conferences on these topics.
Rob is also a former Schools and University cricket international, and fast deteriorating runner.
Dr Gary Bell
Gary is an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist and Executive Coach. He read Oriental Studies followed by Medicine at the University of Queensland. He came to the UK to specialise in psychiatry. He became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 1985 and a Fellow in 2000.
His main areas of clinical interest are perinatal mental health, complex anxiety and depressive disorders and ADHD and co-existing physical ill health such as chronic pain and cancer. He is currently the Mental Health Lead for St Luke’s Healthcare for the Clergy. He was previously a Lecturer at UCH and a Senior Lecturer at St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical Schools and an Examiner for the University of London and the Royal College of Psychiatrists. He has published widely in the fields of medical education and liaison psychiatry.
His work as an Executive Coach draws upon years of clinical experience but focuses on helping individuals identify a greater sense of purpose within and find the motivation to implement the necessary changes in their life to achieve this.
Away from medicine, Gary enjoys rugby (as a spectator!), music, including relearning the piano and spending time with family and friends.
Evie works with individuals to enhance wellbeing during challenging times such as these. She helps individuals cope through both short-term and long-term change and shows them how to live in a way that their future self would be proud of. She specialises in resilience, work-life balance and individuals working in high-pressure situations.
Evie is a Psychometric Analyst and qualified accredited Executive Coach. She studied psychology for 5 years and started working within the corporate wellbeing sector 2 years ago. Evie often utilises psychometric assessments to pinpoint areas that might be holding an individual back. Evie uses modern psychological techniques and has a particular interest in the use of mindfulness and meditation to maximise wellbeing.
Dr Philip Hopley
Dr Phil Hopley is a Medical Doctor and Consultant Psychiatrist. After 19 years working with the NHS, he founded Cognacity and is now Managing Director.
Phil’s training in forensic, general and sport psychiatry combined with a career playing Premiership rugby enabled him to develop his passion for the mental health of elite performance in sport and business. In recent years Phil has worked as the mental health advisor to a number of blue chip organisations and sport bodies guiding mental health strategy development and providing coaching / crisis support.
In his downtime, mindful dog walking, watching sport, playing golf and trying to keep up with the next generation of Hopleys helps to keep him balanced.
Dr Amy Iversen
Dr Amy Iversen is an executive coach with 15 years of experience in delivering transformative conversations to her clients.
Amy has always been interested in the mind. Her first degree was in Experimental Psychology and she went on to train as a medical doctor and later as a psychiatrist.. Alongside this, she had a highly successful research career, publishing more than sixty papers and completing a PhD. She now works solely as a coach, albeit one with a sound understanding of what makes people tick. Amy has worked extensively at Partner level in professional services & financial services, and with CEOs from start-ups to blue-chip. She is passionate about coaching and is currently studying for a Masters in Coaching and Consulting for change at INSEAD.
She divides her time between King’s Cross and Whitstable and enjoys running by the sea with her dog Bitzer Maloney. She is the proud mummy to Dolly, Theo and Luna.
Prof Pieter Kruger
Prof Pieter Kruger is a HCPC and HPCSA registered consultant psychologist and professor of clinical psychology. He has been working in the public and private sectors for the past 18 years and is currently the Director of International Operations. He is also currently the Director of the Centre for Health & Human Performance at North-West University in South Africa and a visiting professor at the UCL Medical School in London since 2011.
Pieter has been specialising in elite performance (business and sport), as well as anxiety disorders in clinical practice. He has a special interest in the design and implementation of high-performance strategies to optimise wellbeing and performance in high pressure environments on a systemic, team and individual level. He has been working with various Olympic athletes, elite sports people and elite teams in England, Ireland, Australia and South Africa.
As a former road and track national cycling champion, Pieter is still a keen recreational mountain biker, enjoys playing squash and spending time outdoors with his family.
Dr Marisa Lang
Marisa is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist experienced in Adult Mental Health and Corporate Well-being Programmes. She obtained her clinical doctorate at University College London and specialised in Cognitive-Behavioural approaches at Oxford University. Drawing on evidence-based practice, her work is characterised by an integrative, client-centred and collaborative approach.
Jake is a British Psychological society (BPS) registered Psychologist. Having completed his MSc at the University of London, Jake now works delivering training in corporate and educational spaces as well as psychotherapy in our Harley Street Clinic (also in training to become a BABCP accredited CBT practitioner).
Academically, he has conducted in depth research into stress, performance and work detachment with renowned organisations such as BAE systems, Atlas Electroniks, BMW and Alphabet.
With a talent for rugby union and rugby sevens, including playing in the World Rugby Sevens Series at International Invitations men’s open level – Jake takes his passion for elite performance under pressure and applies it to our own mental health. Specializing in performance, mental health and behaviour; he now uses his background by enabling people and following a passion for resilience
In his downtime, Jake is often being dragged around the UK by his Siberian Husky competing in Canicross or Bikejoring dog sports.

Dr Cinzia Pezzolesi
Dr Cinzia Pezzolesi is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and a qualified Mindfulness Teacher. She has a post graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy from Oxford University. Cinzia is currently acting as the Clinical Director of the Mindfulness Project and is collaborating both with the clinical and corporate teams at Cognacity.
Cinzia has started her career as researcher at Hertfordshire University where she gained a PhD in the topic of “human factors and patient safety’. Before moving the UK, Cinzia was a professional volleyball player for several years and she still cultivates a passion for sports and healthy eating.
Richard Thorpe specialises in identifying those lifestyle and behavioural changes needed to ensure individuals can adapt to changing circumstances and increased stress-levels. His advice is based on an individual’s ‘Heart Rate Variability’ – the single best physiological indicator of how the body deals with stress. He can identify how an individual is coping with increased stress and offer tailor-made strategies, based on the individual’s own data, to suggest changes to lifestyle and behaviours that will boost wellbeing and resilience. art.
Richard is an Executive Coach and former Premiership & International Rugby Player. Following his retirement from rugby in 2016, Richard now specialises in lifestyle and behavioural changes to help individuals overcome obstacles that hold them back from fulfilling their potential.
